Garbage, Recycling & Yard Debris

The City of Forest Acres collects garbage, recycling and yard debris once a week at each residence.

On the morning of your weekly garbage collection, your cart must be at the curb by 7:00 AM. Please remove your cart from the curb by 8:00 PM of your collection day. Garbage must be placed in roll carts.  Recyclable materials must be placed in recycling bins for pickup, but should not be bagged.

What to Throw Away

Your roll cart is for disposing of regular household garbage. Please place bagged household garbage in your roll cart. Bag and tie so garbage won’t fly!
