Residents of Forest Acres are reminded to obtain permits for repairs to damaged structures within the floodplain. Due to the recent flooding event, many structures may have experienced structural damage. Repairs and /or reconstruction activities to damaged structures in the floodplain will require a floodplain development permit from the City of Forest Acres Building Department as required by Forest Acres’ Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance.
